We're Hiring Camp Counselors!

We're hiring counselors for our 2025 Summer Camp. Are you a 14-20 year old looking for a fun and flexible summer job? SSHRC is the perfect fit for you. With a flexible, uplifting, and fun environment, you can be sure to have fun while maintaining a safe environment for our campers! Ages 14-20 paid position, free summer membership at SSHRC! We also are hiring junior counselors (age 13) who are looking for a volunteer position to get their feet wet. Junior Counselors will also receive a free summer membership at SSHRC! Summer Camp Weeks

Tropical Paradise

June 23rd through June 27th

Come escape with us to a tropical paradise to welcome summer! We will have tropical themed activities all week long. Join us for a fun-filled week with a Luau Party on Friday!

Space is the Place

June 23rd through June 27th

Take a trip with us to outer space! All week long we will experience the greatness of space and everything along with it. With different space-themed activities, your child is sure to blast off at the end of the week at our Space Party on Friday!

Sports Extravaganza

July 7th through July 11th

Is your child a sports fanatic? This is the week for them. We will have sports-themed activities all week long. We will teach some fundamentals of sports then have match-play time. We will finish out this fun-filled week with a Sports Party on Friday!

Rainforest Adventure

July 21st through July 25th

Let's discover everything the rainforest has to offer. With our rainforest themed activities, your child will not just learn but also have fun! At the end of the week, we will celebrate with a Rainforest Party on Friday!

Dinosaur Discovery

August 4th through August 8th

Are you ready to take on the Jurassic Era? Come join us for all kinds of dinosaur themed activities and games. Your child will be able to discover things about the Jurassic Era that they've never seen before. Come stomp around with us and at the end of the week we will have a Dinosaur Party on Friday!

General Camp Information

SSHRC's Summer Camp is open to children ages 5 to 12.

Pre-registration is required to participate.

To register please call the front desk at (269)429-2101.

Full payment is required at the time of registration.

Member Early Bird Registration begins Monday, March 10th.

Normal Registration begins Monday, March 24th.

Health Forms must be filled out completely and submitted to Priscilla before the first day of camp for your child to participate in activities.

You may be subject to a $10 late fee if your child is picked up 15 minutes or later of their scheduled pickup time without notice to staff.

Camp Fees

Member Regular Hours: $210

Member Extended Hours: $230

Member Early Bird Discount: register your child before March 24th and receive $15 off per child!

Guest Regular Hours: $240

Guest Extended Hours: $260

Camp Hours

Regular Hours: 9am to 3pm (if pickup will be later than 3:15pm on any given day, you must register for extended hours)

Extended Hours: 7:30am to 5:30pm (drop off no earlier than 7:30am and pick up no later than 5:30pm, if running late please call SSHRC)

We ask that you provide:

Packed lunch with ice pack, gym shoes, water bottle, snacks, and swimsuit/towel for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday swim days.
